The Benchmark Group is committed to protecting your privacy. Benchmark and its affiliated entities (collectively, "Benchmark", "we", "us", "our") We are committed to respecting your privacy rights. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. It gives you vital information about how we manage your personal information. 
This Privacy Policy covers information practices of websites that link to this Privacy Policy, including https://www.benchmarkapartments.com/ and any subdomains thereof (collectively, the “Sites”). Websites that do not link to this Privacy Policy are covered by other privacy policies.
It is important to us that we provide transparency regarding our collection, use, and disclosure of information that relates to a person or that can be reasonably linked to a person ("Personal Information"). We may use Other Information, which does not identify you personally, for any reason we deem appropriate, including for purposes of administering, protecting and improving our Sites and systems, to better understand the preferences of our Site visitors, to identify server problems, to compile aggregated statistics about Site usage, and to help personalize your experience on our Sites.  
Sharing Personal Information 
We do not sell your personal information to third parties or disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes, except as set forth herein. 
We may share personal information: to other companies within the Benchmark group to better serve your needs; to our service providers (such as our customer support specialists, survey and other email campaign providers, payment processors, cable provider, etc.), who are only permitted to use the information to provide services to us and you; as required by law or legal proceeding or to protect our or others’ legal rights; and in connection with an acquisition, merger, sale, or other transfer of all or any portion of our business. Additionally, we may share personal information with optional service providers that may be of interest to you as a resident of a Benchmark property, such as renters’ insurance providers, and rent payment reporting providers. This sharing does not include any opt-ins to SMS provided by Benchmark residents. Such SMS opt-ins are strictly used for direct communication with Benchmark and its properties as consented to by the resident. Opting-in to SMS communications does not constitute an opt-in to communications with any third-party optional service providers.
Cookies 
To personalize and enhance your experience on our Sites, we also may collect information through “cookies.” Cookies are small strings of text sent by our Sites to your browser and then stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies allow us to not only personalize your experience on our Sites, make your visit more convenient, and understand how you and others are using our Sites so we can improve your experience on the Sites. We use cookies to identify repeat visitors to our Sites and to determine the paths visitors take on our Sites. We also use cookies to determine whether you visited our Sites from a particular Internet link or advertisement. Third-Party Analytics Services 
We use Google Analytics to better understand the behavior of visitors to our websites. The information collected does not personally or directly identify you or your street address. We use the Entrata platform as our property management software, and thus store and process personal information shared with us by prospective renters and residents of Benchmark properties through that platform to run analytics and conduct our operations.  We reserve the right to dispose of or delete any or all personal information at any time (including prior to any specific retention timeframe communicated above), except as set forth in any other agreement or document executed by both you and us concerning the same or as required by law.
